Add users to a ticket's watch list.
The customer service help desk and ticket system allows you to add yourself and other users as watchers to issues and tasks. Watchers will receive notifications when an issue or task has a reply or change in status and assignments. Watchers also share ownership and can reply to a ticket or issue they are watching.Add users to a task's watch list.
tiHelpdesk's watch list is available from the main tool bar.
The watch list allows granting task and issue visibility and notifications to other users when a task is modified in tiHelpdesk.
If a user is watching a task or issue, they can view, reply and update that task.
To add a user to the watch list, open the details view.
On the details view toolbar, click on the watchlist icon.
You will see the task or issues current followers and be able to add and remove followers from the task.
To add a new follower, filter and select the user to add by using the drop down.
Multiple followers can be added.
When you add a user to an issue or task as a watcher you will see the user's name added to the list of watchers.
To remove a follower, click on the "X" next to the users name in the list of watchers.
You will be presented with a delete confirmation dialog. Click remove.
Modifications to the watch list do not require that you click save. The changes are saved automatically.
To remove yourself from the watch list you can use the watch list dialog, or tiHelpdesk's watchlist productivity panel.
On your productivity panel click the "X" next to any tasks that you no longer wish to receive notifications on. When you click "X" the task will be removed from your help desk and tiHelpdesk watch list.
