Help Desk - Products and Groups

Products and Groups Restrictions Overview. Product and Groups is an Integral part of tiHelpdesk's  assignments, restrictions and notification.
Agents and Staff user accounts can be associated with a Product or Group.  Associating Agents and Staff members with specific Products and Groups restricts the Agents and Staff members that can be associated with or assigned to a task.  By Default Agents and Staff that will receive notifications when tasks are created, edited, or replied to should be associated with Product or Group Selected.
Users can be assigned to Companies and Companies can be associated with Products and Groups. Consumer users that belong to Companies that have been assigned to a Product or Group are restricted to entering tasks related to that product or group.
