Help Desk - External Incidents and Tasks

 
External users are often from different companies or organizations, different company divisions or independent individuals not affiliated with any entity.  These may be customers who have purchased products. They may be visitors to a web site or blog, they may be customers from a physical or virtual store.  With external users (who are not employed by a company or organization or are not expected to be assigned to a task) can log on to the customer help desk and open issues and tasks that will be resolved or assigned by your company or organizations staff, track the progress of those issues and tasks, be notified when activity occurs on those issues and tasks. Contribute additional information to the issues and tasks as required, and clearly see the status of those  issues and tasks as they are being resolved by the Staff Members and Agents.
