Help Desk - Companies and Division Details

 
The Company Detail view displays the company details in the right side of the Dashboard.  In the tiHelpdesk instance companies can be used to group consumers and end users.  Companies can be individual private entities or divisions within one (or more) corporate or organizational entities.  Consumer and end users that belong to a company can (depending on subscription level and individual user permissions that have been configured for the user in tiHelpdesk) see all tasks related to that Company or division.
 
Depending on the users privileges and subscription level not all features and options may be available.

Company Icon

1. Company Icon
A default company icon or thumbnail of the image associated with the company.  The company logo can be updated at the time of creating the company or after clicking edit.

Number of User Accounts

2. Number of User Accounts
Displays the number of consumer or end user accounts associated with the company.

Consumer User Tab

3. Consumer User Tab
Displays the list of consumer users who are assigned to the Company or Division.  Depending on the subscription level and the individual user permissions these users can share visibility of all tasks related to that Company or division.

Company or Division

4. Company or Division
The name of the Company or Division who's details are currently being displayed.

Products Tab

5. Products Tab
The Products and Groups that have been associated with the selected company or division.  Consumer and end users of tiHelpdesk can enter tasks for the Products and Groups that have been assigned to their Company or Division. Edit Button

6. Edit Button
Clicking the edit button allows the user to edit the values associated with the currently displayed Company or Division. For more information about Editing Companies and Divisions please see the related help topic

Notes Tab

7. Notes Tab
Notes and comments that have been associated with the displayed Company or Division. These notes are not displayed anywhere except on the Company Details Screen.  Information that may be included here could consist of anything that was of importance to Agents and Staff when dealing with this Company or Division.

User / Contact Details

8. User / Contact Details
Contact Details card for all consumer and end users associated with the displayed Company or Division. The information related to the contact on the contact details card us clickable and allows the user to quickly navigate to additional views.

Jump to User Record

1. Jump to User Record
Clicking on the consumer or end users name will navigate to the Consumer and End User Details panel and display the consumer or end user's details for viewing and editing.

Contact the User

2. Contact the User
Depending on the subscription level, platform and user permissions clicking on an email address or phone number on a contact card may launch installed applications sucha as a phone dialer or email client.

Splitter Bar

9. Splitter Bar
The Splitter Bar allows the Company or Division panel to be resized.
 

 
Products Tab
 
The products tab displays the products that have been associated with the selected company or division.  Consumer and end users of tiHelpdesk can enter tasks for the products that have been assigned to their Company or Division.
 
 

 
Notes Tab
 
Notes and comments that have been associated with the displayed Company or Division. These notes are not displayed anywhere except on the Company Details Screen.  Information that may be included here could consist of anything that was of importance to Agents and Staff when dealing with this Company or Division.
