Consumers and End Users can modify their profile data by editing their User Settings from the Main Toolbar. End Users should see the User Settings help topic for instructions on editing their own user profile information and settings in the tiHelpdesk instance.
Depending on a Staff Members user permissions and the subscription level, Staff Members and Agents may be able to edit Consumer Users general account information. Not all Information is available for editing. Consumer users and Agents may use the same email address and password for logging on multiple tiHelpdesk instance instances with different URL's. Only data that is specific to the Staff Members or Agents current instance may be edited from the Consumer User Details screen.
Depending on the users privileges and subscription level not all features and options may be available.
Email Address Link
Click on the users email address to open the associated email client and send an email to the user's email address.
Click the associated company displayed in the User Header on the Detail Panel to open the Company Detail Panel and view or edit the company information.
Opens a local file system browse dialog. The agent can select a file from the local computer and attach it to the profile for use as the user's profile photo.
The Company, Division or Organization that this user is affiliated with. Optional. Consumer Users can share the visibility of tasks across their Company or Division.
Notes and comments that are associated with the displayed Consumer User. These notes are not displayed anywhere except on the Consumer User Details Screen. Information that may be included here could consist of anything that was of importance with this user. These notes are not private and can be seen by other users with access to the user's detail screen.
To send or resend an account invite click on the send invite icon. An email with link is sent to the user that will allow them to create a password and enter their user information so that they can log on the tiHelpdesk instance.
Consumer Users can share the visibility of tasks across their Company or Division. If this check box is checked the Consumer Users can see and reply to all Tickets or Tasks for the Company, Division. If this value is unchecked the user can only see their tasks.
View, edit and modify the User permissions for the currently selected user. Permission that are available for editing will be determined by suite configuration settings and subscription level. Not all features may be available.
