Integration with Custom Jitsi Servers
tiHelpdesk is not affiliated with Jitsi and does not receive any financial incentive for promoting their services.
Integration with custom Jitsi Server implementations is a cost effective video conferencing solution for use with tiHelpdesk's integrated conference calling. The help desk has been tested with custom server instances implemented on AWS. In order to facilitate integrated recording and call security as well as for integration with the tiHelpdesk instance to function properly, there are required modifications that need to be made to the open source available freely from GitHub, BEFORE it is installed on custom servers implementations should contact our support staff. Our support staff will provide instructions for the required source code and configuration changes upon request, free of charge to paid help desk subscribers.
Integration with this provider is seamless and provides ability to brand the integrated video calls, as well as restrict access to video calls through the tiHelpdesk instance. Video call attendees must authenticate through the help desk with a valid help desk video call URL in order to create or access an custom server integrated video call. This adds a level of integrated call security. The help desk requires that a moderator (authorized call creator) in attendance in the integrated video call in order for unregistered guests to join or attend an call on the custom server platform. This reduces the likelihood of unknown attendees utilizing server resources.
Call recordings are displayed in the integrated video call history tab for downloading. Call recordings are available indefinitely based on the custom server configuration.
